The botanic gardens are lit up and dazzling, a grand expanse of trees shadowing the background — like an enchanted forest at twilight: magical, elegant, moody, glittering. Our colors are made up of rich jewel tones like grape, plum, pine, and emerald as well as dark green, soft dusk, wisteria, and matcha.

You, dear guest, look stunning. You pose in a semi-formal, cocktail, or dressy casual style — classy, comfortable, with maybe a nature-inspired twist. Flowing chiffon fabrics, floral prints, and sparkling gold and silver accessories can all bring the perfect touch. Add a flower crown and bring your favorite library book to really fit the brief.

The ceremony will take place outdoors as the sun starts to set. Follow the garden paths and open grass, under trellises and along rows of flowers, to find the Secret Garden.

The reception to follow will be held inside a gorgeous conservatory known as the Orangerie, complete with fairy lights and high glass ceilings to take in the night sky. Feel free to have an extra layer or wrap as the air turns cool — though things will certainly heat up when the dancing starts.

The most important thing, though, is that you are comfortable. Wear something you feel great in — and that you can move in, from dancing to candid pictures to sneaking off to walk among the trees.
